Canada's Wonderland

Billed as “Canada’s premier amusement park,” Canada’s Wonderland offers a thrilling mix of rides and attractions. Roller coaster aficionados find the Toronto area theme park particularly inviting, as Canada’s Wonderland is home to well over a dozen roller coasters — the greatest variety of roller coasters you’ll find anywhere in North America. The newest addition to the lineup of roller coasters at Canada’s Wonderland is the aptly-named Behemoth, described as Canada’s tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster. There are more than 65 rides in all at Canada’s Wonderland, among them such family rides as an antique carousel. Three areas in the Ontario amusement park are devoted specifically to children and feature such popular cartoon characters as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer and Scooby Doo. The 200-plus attractions at Canada’s Wonderland also include Splash Works, a 20-acre waterpark that lays claims to the largest outdoor wave pool in Canada. Visitors to the metro Toronto amusement park may also enjoy live shows, concerts and such special events as firework shows.
