The National Ballet of Canada is a highlight of the Toronto arts calendar. Considered one of the top international ballet companies, The National Ballet of Canada showcases the talents of more than 70 ballet dancers and features its own orchestra. Although it performs (and premieres) contemporary works, The National Ballet of Canada is at heart a classical company with a classical repertoire that includes Romeo and Juliet and Giselle among its signature ballets. National Ballet of Canada performances in Toronto are held at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, the award-winning opera house where the Canadian Opera Company makes its home.
